Principles Of Interactive Media Design

Liam Bannon's class, covering media literacy, orality, narrative and interactivity and more. There are two presentations to be done, so I'll put them here for when the time is right. For the first presentation I'm inclining towards media literacy, something about it's ubiquitiousness and peoples interpretations...

I didn't do that at all, I did a presentation on Branding and such like. And a report on my final project – which is nearly all decided on. I feel quite productive. Check it out.

Professional Issues In Interactive Design

Joe Griffin's class, concerned with the ethics and legality of media. Theres a moodle discussion group on various topics that have come up and we also have a private group discussion for our case study.

So, a report and a presentation later it's all over. Aw.

The report was on a hypothetical ethical issue relating to buying a house and having some coldhearted scoundrel bollocks it up for you. You can read all about it if you want to.

The presentation was on internet pornography, the ins and outs of it and so forth. We got to have a little fun with this one, so we made a Flash video. It's a hard hitting documentary that doesn't shy away from the truth. Watch if you dare.

Interactive Media In Public Spaces

Paraq Deshpande's class, looking at, obviously, interactive media in public spaces. Our project will be based on the Milk Market, which is an interesting site to choose as it recieves such a varied group of visitors in such a short space of time.
